Bishop Geoffrey Jarrett, the Clergy and people of the Diocese extend a warm welcome to pilgrims wishing to come to the Diocese of Lismore for the “Days is the Diocese” Programme. Our Parishes are looking forward to hosting young people from all over the world and offering them the great hospitality Australians are renowned for.
Our Diocese offers excellent natural beauty from the beaches to the mountains. This is enhanced by the wonderful faith communities, grown from the sweat of hard working pioneers who lived their faith under difficult and in sometimes remote, circumstances.
Pilgrims will have the opportunity to share this faith experience as they prepare for the great events to take place in Sydney the following week.
